Environmental Consciousness

At our company, we strive to adopt sustainable business practices that reduce our ecological footprint.
Our ‘Sustainable Habits’ initiative coincides with environmental days in April each year where we encourage our team members and communities to reduce paper usage, embrace reusable cups, and recycle paper, plastics, and electronics as available.

Additionally, we are very proud to conduct an annual tree planting campaign. The campaign recognizes each of the bank’s employees by planting a tree in their honor. The trees are planted as part of the reforestation work of both the Santa Ana and Lower Rio Grande Valley National Wildlife Refuge in Texas.

Third Coast Bank implemented an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) that provides resources, training, and online tools to assist employees with stress management, healthy lifestyles, and more.

We believe a strong culture and productive workforce is critical to our success. We are committed to attracting and retaining top talent. Third Coast is dedicated to creating an environment where its employees feel inspired to do their best work and where everyone feels valued and respected for their unique capabilities and where everyone is engaged in the Company's strategic vision of continued strong growth.

In 2024, we reinforced our commitment to employee engagement and fostering a sense of belonging by enhancing our Culture Counts initiative. This was achieved through the several programs including peer-to-peer recognition programs, holiday acts of kindness, volunteer captain's network, a week of inclusion & belonging that entailed hosting guest speakers, microlearning opportunities, and a cultural potluck luncheon at each location. Additionally, we developed a mentoring circles program where multiple mentees were able to collaborate with a single mentor in group settings that facilitated the exchange of ideas and collective personal growth opportunities.
